Jonathan‘s debut offering, the international bestnonseller, Poems and Prose from beneath the Reek (2023), was translated into one language and won no awards. It was shortlisted for nothing but was well reviewed in the News Four paper in Ringsend. It is currently being considered for adaptation to film by the Disney +
Jonathan’s second attempt, Bar Stool Notions of Poetry was published in 2023. It has been translated from Guinness into the English language and translations are pending for Arabic, Welsh and Spiddal Gaeilge.
It was not shortlisted for Booker Prize Short List. It was launched in the men’s cubicle in Matt Molloy’s.
Jonathan’s third effort ’ More Bar Stool Notions of Poetry from Himself” was published in 2024 in the Elyse's Palace, Paris due to low mart sheep prices in Mayo. Emanuel Macron made no comment at the event but was clearly impressed. Kamala Harris was a no show, again. There is a discount on this publication of 3.8%
Jonathan’s first and latest novel (?) The Inconvenient Toe, is a kidnap murder thriller written from his own kidnap and murder experience, and various dreams, and will be published in Co Mayo in 2024
and in the UK and Ireland in 2028.
